Terms of Service

Welcome to Boost, a career development platform designed to help job seekers gain clarity, build confidence, and create standout career materials. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Boost platform and all associated content, tools, and community features. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Access and Plan Structure

Boost offers two paid tiers:

Essential Plan
Includes:

  • Access to the full 6-step career development course
  • Skills and achievements inventory
  • Superpowers identifier
  • Personal pitch creation tools
  • Resume tailoring tools
  • Ideal role identification
  • Lifetime access to all materials
  • Peer feedback and networking via the Slack community

Premium Plan
Includes all features of the Essential Plan, plus:

  • Personalized feedback from career experts
  • Expert review of your achievements, pitch, and resume
  • Custom career path recommendations
  • Priority support

All access is provided on a one-time payment basis. No subscription is required. Lifetime access remains active unless the account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms.

2. Feedback and Support

Personalized feedback provided in the Premium Plan is limited to specific points in the course curriculum, as outlined in the platform. Feedback requests are not unlimited and are subject to the course's structure and guidelines.

3. Account Deletion

Users may delete their account at any time via their account settings. Deletion of an account does not entitle the user to a refund. Boost reserves the right to suspend or permanently disable accounts that violate these Terms or community standards.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and all original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Boost Inc. and its licensors. This includes, but is not limited to, all videos, templates, documents, branding elements, written material, and tools provided through the platform.

The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws of Canada and foreign countries. Our trademarks, logos, and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Boost Inc.

You may download certain materials for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display of any part of the platform's content without explicit permission is strictly prohibited.

5. Community Guidelines and Participation

Boost includes access to a private Slack community designed for peer feedback and networking. Participation in the community is subject to the following standards:

  • Maintain respectful and constructive communication
  • Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or bullying
  • Avoid unsolicited self-promotion or spam
  • Do not share false, misleading, or harmful content
  • Respect the privacy and rights of others

Moderators reserve the right to remove content or participants that violate community standards.

6. User-Generated Content

By posting or uploading content to the community, you retain ownership of your contributions but grant Boost a limited, non-exclusive license to display such content within the community platform for educational and peer engagement purposes.

7. Eligibility

The Boost platform is intended for adult users. By accessing the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. There are no geographic restrictions — users from all countries are welcome.

8. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any material changes will be communicated via email or posted on the platform. Continued use of Boost after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Boost, its owners, affiliates, contributors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including, without limitation:

  • loss of profits,
  • loss of data,
  • loss of use,
  • loss of goodwill, or
  • other intangible losses

resulting from (i) your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or information.

All services and content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to provide accurate, actionable, and supportive guidance, Boost does not guarantee specific results or employment outcomes through use of the platform.
